Registration Policies and Release & Waiver Agreement
By registering for FANS Ultra Races, you are confirming agreement with the following Race Policies and Release & Waiver agreement.
Covid-19 Policy
I will adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal guidelines regarding Covid-19. Including, and not limited to, face coverings, social distancing, and general guidance provided by the race before and during the event. I agree that I will not come to the event if I qualify for CDC Quarantine Guidelines.
Note: FANS Ultra Races is committed to providing a safe environment for our racers. We will be closely monitoring guidelines and will provide more details as the event date nears.
Refund, Transfer and Change Policy
Registration fees are non-refundable except in the event that the in-person event is cancelled. If the in-person event is cancelled, you may request a refund. If a refund is not requested, your registration fees will be converted into a donation for the FANS Scholarship fund. Thank you!
Race registrations may not be transferred to another person.
Racers may request a race division change up to one week prior to the event. Additional fees may apply based on the registration fees at the time of the change. Partial refunds will not be granted.
Fundraising Policy
If choosing to fundraise, you are responsible for the remaining balance if the fundraising minimum of $500.00 is not met.
We have very rarely had to ask racers for this and welcome you to come to us to ask for help fundraising prior to the event.
Release & Waiver Agreement
Acceptance precludes any claim for injury. I know that my participation in the FANS Ultra Races is a potentially hazardous activity. I understand that I should not participate in this event unless I am properly trained, am in excellent condition, and have no medical conditions which could worsen with intense physical activity. Knowing these facts, I am entering this event at my own risk and assume all risk and responsibility for injuries I may incur or cause as a direct result of my participation in this event.
In consideration of the acceptance of my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, agree not to hold any and all participating sponsors, supporters, race committee members and the board of directors, employees and agents of such parties, or the Department of Natural Resources, State of Minnesota, Pillsbury United Communities, and the officers and employees of such entities, or any group or individual not identified herein, responsible for any claims.
Furthermore, I release and waive the sponsors' representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness of the part of the persons named in this waiver. I further grant permission to Pillsbury United Communities and the Department of Natural Resources to use any photos of myself for promotional opportunities. I verify that I have full knowledge of the risks involved in this event and that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in it. I acknowledge that race organizers can refuse entry at their discretion.
