Run by volunteers
What we don't pay for
Staffing. Race-day staffing and the race committee that plans FANS all year long are 100% volunteer.
100%
Donations
Every donated dollar goes to scholarships
Race fees have historically covered the cost of putting on the race, so donations don't have to. Every dollar donated, to a racer's fundraising page or to FANS directly, goes straight to the scholarship fund.
Sponsors and volunteers make it work
The race depends on its sponsors and volunteers, and we're grateful for every one of them. Each sponsored item or donated supply is one less expense, which means more for FANS scholars.
Sponsor race food
We're always looking for partners to help stock the aid stations.
Sponsor award swag
Help us recognize finishers and milestone mileage with awards and gear.
