Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I love this race! For those of you who don’t know, the FANS race is a fundraiser for Minneapolis students who participate in the FANS (Furthering Achievement through a Network of Support) afterschool program. This program gives high school students critical support in professional opportunities, college counseling, interview skills, and other career-building assets. All of the money we raise from this race goes to their scholarship fund. This is a chance for me to use my running hobby to give back to the community. I have had the good fortune to meet and talk with the FANS scholars and am so impressed with how hard they work and how much they appreciate the FANS program. This year I will be helping to direct the race and as a result I won't be running as much. HOWEVER, I hope to run at least 28 miles which will give me 1000 career miles at FANS!
